Welcome to another Midnight Synth Session with 80’s Sci-Fi Vibes!

If you’re new to my channel, welcome! I’m happy you’re here! And if you’ve been here to my channel before, you might know what these synth sessions are all about. But if you don’t know, these synth jam sessions are just me vibing/ improving and making up fun songs on the fly. They are totally improvised so no planning really goes into these. Just pure vibes and how the sound patch makes me feel in the moment. And I call them “Midnight” sessions because I usually end up doing these jam sessions around that time because I stay up pretty late making music and jamming out.

I think this is my sixth synth jam session I’ve uploaded here on my channel so far! I’ve been having so much fun with these synth sessions lately that I’ve almost been doing them nightly right now on my Roland Fantom X8 synthesizer.

This sound patch on my Fantom is called “Synth/ Orch Mod”. I’ve had my Fantom for a long time and this is the first time I’ve discovered and played around on this specific sound patch. And I had so much fun with it. It’s definitely up there on my favorites list right now and I’ll probably end up using it in a future synthwave song or doing another jam session on it again!

This one is like an ’80s Sci fFi soundscape and it reminds me of a drone style flyover of a futuristic city. That’s just what it reminds me of. But you might think of something different when you hear it. So what do you think of when you hear this improv song? Let me know in the comments.
